Ted Bergan grew up in Eastern South Dakota and gained experience in landscaping and horticulture by spending a few hours every week pulling weeds and watering plants in his dad's nursery.
He even attended some horticulture classes during his college days. He worked for 5 years as a wholesale grower in Minnesota and then started his own business, Sand Creek Landscaping LLC, 18 years ago.
